The selection, by Kiera Cass, earns a 3.5.
America is a girl who's a five, an entertainer. In the dystopian world of Selection, numbers indicate how important you are, and what your job title is. One being very rich and royal, eight being homeless and poor. When a letter comes in the mail about a marriage to the prince, America wants anything but, surprisingly at first. But then we find out that she has her own prince waiting in the tree house at night after curfew. But when she does meet the prince, will she fall in love?
At first, it was a little confusing. But after the first chapter, I wanted to know what would happen next. After the second chapter, I was hooked.
I would suggest this book to fans of hunger games, delirium, and other dystopian.
